Headbot SPSH3, PCB v1, by T.Elner -------------------------------------------------------- **This PCB is as yet untested. I have personally checked through the schematic and am confident it is fine, but have not yet built it.** The photodiodes have been positioned at the two corners to enable them to be mounted directly to the board if you should choose to do so, otherwise you can use pins here and wire the diode externally. LDR's can be used... see the circuit diagram, the orientation of these do not matter. You may wish to put pins in place of the main storage capacitor (0.047F cap). This would allow you to have an external bank with more than one capacitor. The capacitor value does not have to be 0.047F, I have used three 4700uF in parallel. The chip can also be an HC240 as shown in the circuit diagram... it doesn't really matter. Enjoy! www.TomboT.net, tomelner@hotmail.com
